This First Aid/CPR/AED, BLS and CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers program follows the guidelines and training provided by the American Red Cross, reflecting its standard of knowledge and accepted emergency practices.
During this course, the student will use a mannequin to help develop the skills to perform these services. This course covers how to perform Adult and Child CPR/AED. When developing these skills, the student will use a mannequin to perform these services. This includes learning compressions, breaths, placing the AED, helping those with uncontrolled bleeding, and calling for emergency services. We want each student to feel comfortable to perform these lifesaving skills if they were to use them.
This course is five hours long and upon completion, your First Aid/CPR/AED certification is good for two years.
